About Me

My Story
After 30 years of dedicated service, I retired from Police Scotland in March 2024. My journey into the world of holistic healing began 6-7 years ago during my own recovery from a workplace assault. At the time, I believed the aches and pains I was experiencing were just a normal part of aging and the demands of a policing career - until I discovered Kinetic Chain Release (KCR).
Following my very first KCR session, I felt a remarkable difference. My body felt aligned, the pain had eased significantly, and I experienced a sense of lightness and freedom in my movement - plus, I enjoyed one of the best sleeps I’d had in years. I was so impressed by the results that I encouraged members of my team to try it too, and they also reported immediate and lasting relief from long-standing pain.
In May 2022, I trained in KCR through the KCR Academy, completing their intensive 14-hour hands-on weekend course. Initially, I worked with family and friends, consistently achieving excellent results. As I approached retirement, I began offering KCR treatments alongside my police work, with the intention of continuing this work part-time after retiring.
My passion for KCR led me to pursue further training on the KCR Academy’s Pathway to Bodywork Mastery. To date, I have completed courses in:
-
Kinetic Chain Release
-
Introduction to Connective Tissue
-
Connective Tissue 1 & 2
-
Advanced Postural Energetics
-
Women’s Health
In May 2025, I will complete the final course in Quantum Dynamic Healing.
In addition, in June 2024 I qualified as a KCR Trainer, allowing me to share this incredible technique with others through teaching as well as hands-on treatments.
